Veggies in talk of sea life protection

(From redorbit.com) – Redditch vegetarians and vegans are hosting a talk about protecting sea life. Next Wednesday, a speaker from the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society will explain how the group is trying to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world”s oceans.

Kevin White, of the Redditch Vegetarians and Vegans, said: “The SSCS uses innovative direct action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas.

“SSCS is committed to the eradication of pirate whaling, poaching, shark finning, unlawful habitat destruction, and violations of established laws in the World’s oceans.”

The meeting will take place at St Georges Community Hall, St Georges Road, from 7.15pm.
