Plastic pollution threatening seabirds

Ocean-side plastic pollution, specifically plastic ingestion, is threatening seabirds according to a study published on Marine Pollution Bulletin. Plastic ingestions affects around 94 percent of Cory’s shearwaters, a type of seabird, on the Catalan coast.
