Ocean Sentry
Residents walking along the beach stumble upon a sad and unusual sight. A couple of divers found a 300 found bottle nose dolphin floating near the shore at Beach Drive and DeGama Avenue. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Gulf World’s Marine Mammal Stranding Network were notified. Unfortunately the dolphin could not be saved.
Experts at Gulf World are working to determine the cause of death.
