(From glendalenewspress.com) Glendale- Flushing drugs down the drain can harm the environment because the medications sometimes aren’t filtered out during the sewage-filtration process and can end up in the ocean. According to the No Drugs Down the Drain initiative, several studies have shown that even low levels of exposure to pharmaceuticals can result in abnormal development and reproduction in fish and other wildlife.
“Anything we can do to help the environment should be done. We’re polluting the Earth enough as it is.”
