Nearly 50 whales beached in southern Chile

Twenty false killer whales died after stranding Sunday afternoon in the Strait of Magellan, in Southern Chile, according to the National Service of Fishing. Twenty-six others were successfully put back into the sea, thanks to the efforts of local fishermen, scientists and the authorities.
