Generation of turtles at risk: researcher

Juvenile turtles are dying en masse on the Great Barrier Reef and the full effects of the disaster won”t be seen for 20 years, a researcher says.

Three recent cyclones, and this year”s floods, have wiped out seagrass beds along large swathes of the Queensland coast, leaving turtles and dugongs to starve to death.
