(From sermitsiaq.gl)- Add seals to the list of animals Greenland”s hunters apparently catch too many of. After revelations last month that whalers left scores of narwhal bodies decomposing on the shoreline near the eastern Greenland village of Ittoqqortoormiit, wildlife experts now say they frequently find seals discarded in harbour rubbish bins. “I”ve seen hunters in central and southern Greenland shoot up to 50 seals, but then they only take one home with them for food.”
