Photo/S P Khan Hundreds of dead turtles washed ashore downstream Sukkur barrage on Thursday morning after some fishermen poured toxic chemical into the river to maximise their catch.

The chemical forces fish to come up to surface of water to catch breath and become an easy prey for the fishermen.
