Cold effects still hurting manatees PDF Print E-mail

The effects of the extended cold temperatures in January and February continue to plague Florida's manatees. Ailing manatees continue to be rescued almost daily.

So far, a record 193 manatee deaths have been attributed to cold stress, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
