The smolt was found in the stomach of one of an estimated 40,000 fish that escaped last week from fish-farming company Marine Harvest Canada's Port Elizabeth farm in the Broughton Archipelago. this just duse not make sence at all,these fish farmes are going to be the death of all the wild stocks.It is already happening in British Columbia,there were 10 million sockeye that went missing this year in the fraser river,i think it is largely to do with all of the farmes on the west coast,and another thing that just duze not make sence is to bring one farmed salmon to maturity you have to feed it the eqivilent of 4 full sized fish,because thats what they feed farmed fish,fish pellets,so again were is this suppost to all make sence.the part that bothers me the most is that so meny other speices realy on these salmon for survival including the Killer Whale.It is going to be the same as the east coast ,with the cod.
