Furthermore, the project is also intended to build an artificial breakwater on the seabed, which would cost nearly a million Euros to create new ecosystems in the area and reproduction of marine species. It is estimated that, once installed cement blocks on the seabed, within 5 years could be demonstrated the environmental benefit. The immersion took place a mile and a half from the coast, about 12 to 15 meters deep, enough to find all kinds of waste, the vast majority from fishing boats. The following images show what can be picked up on the seabed in just one hour per 15 people.
