In order to achieve successful campaigns Ocean Sentry needs the collaboration of people worldwide through donations or by actively taking part in our investigations and direct action campaigns. Requirement to collaborate with Ocean Sentry In accordance with the law and through direct action, we need people willing to fight for the survival, conservation and preservation of all marine wildlife worldwide. Which are our campaigns? Campaigns are limited only by available resources. Currently Ocean Sentry intends to put an end to trawler fishing in the Mediterranean Sea (legal or illegal) and to stop the fishing of endangered and vulnerable Shark species. The health of our oceans depends on the preservation of important apex predators such as the sharks which play a crucial role in ocean ecosystems. Spain is leading the top European countries on shark fishing and is the fifth largest shark fishing nation globally. If we put an end to this market of destruction, the shark fin trade and illegal shark fishing we could save our magnificent sharks which have roamed the oceans for millions of years together with the delicately balanced ecosystems they have successfully regulated until now. The preservation of sharks depend on the actions of all the humans which inhabit this precious planet - and you are one of them! Donation You can make an individual donation or monthly donations through our web site. With your donations we will be able to provide the direct action we need for our campaigns and will allow to reach our targets. Your help is vital for us and our mission. Donations are used only for Investigations / Direct Action within our campaigns and Ocean Sentry ensures your money is never wasted and goes directly to our work saving the oceans. Volunteer with Ocean Sentry Volunteers can actively participate in our campaigns under the guidance of our Directors and Volunteer Coordinators.
