Is Gulf oil killing the whale sharks?

During the recent oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico ,4.9 million barrels  of oil flowed into an area south of the Mississippi River Delta, where of one-third of all northern Gulf of Mexico, whale sharks have been sighted.
